Reviews and Ratings
Our stay at the Inn at the Park was fantastic, especially for our family of seven! The spacious suite had a fully stocked kitchen, which made meal preparation a breeze. While the rooftop offered charming views, we didn't use it much. The proximity to Balboa Park made exploring easy, but be prepared for a short taxi or rideshare to downtown. The sales pitch for a timeshare was a bit off-putting, but the staff were friendly and accommodating despite that. Overall, I would definitely return with family.
This boutique hotel offers a wonderful stay with its charming Art Deco ambiance and spacious accommodations, making it perfect for those exploring San Diego. The staff goes above and beyond to provide personalized service, ensuring I felt welcome throughout my visit. However, the noise from the rooftop lounge can be a slight disturbance early in the morning. Overall, it’s a fantastic value with all the amenities needed for a pleasant getaway.
The hotel is perfectly situated near Balboa Park, making it easy to explore nearby attractions like museums and the zoo. My room was well-appointed and had a convenient kitchenette, which was a huge plus. The staff went above and beyond to assist me throughout my stay, but the mattress in my room really needs replacing. Overall, great experience but with some room for improvement.
The hotel has a lot to offer with its charming decor, well-appointed rooms, and a rooftop lounge that makes for a lovely place to relax. I appreciated the friendly and accommodating staff who made my stay enjoyable. However, I found the experience with the timeshare presentation to be quite unpleasant, overshadowing my initial good impressions. Overall, it’s a solid choice for anyone seeking a comfortable vibe.
The Inn at the Park is nestled in a charming neighborhood, right across from Balboa Park, making it easy to explore local attractions. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, but the early sunlight can be a bit disruptive due to the lack of blackout blinds. While the service has its highs with some staff being incredibly helpful, the aggressive pitch for the timeshare presentation left a sour note. Overall, it’s a good value for its location, but be cautious of additional offerings that may take up your time.
